Website Terms of Use — Korean Cheat Code Last Updated: 29 January 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to, browsing of, or registration for koreancheatcode.com (the "Website"), as well as our educational language courses, coaching programmes, and downloadable materials (each a "Course" and collectively, the "Courses"), including any online community forums, whether accessed as a guest or as a registered user.
The Website is operated by Korean Cheat Code ("we", "us", "our").
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing any Course. By using our Website or purchasing our Courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms, including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
1. Accessing and Using Our Courses
Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old to use our Website. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained your parent or guardian's permission to use the Website.
Account Security: When creating an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are strictly prohibited from sharing your login credentials (username and/or password) with any other person.
No Sharing: Your purchase grants single-user access only. Sharing your account or Course content with others constitutes a violation of these Terms and will result in the immediate termination of your account without refund.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
- Ownership: All content on this Website — including videos, PDFs, text, graphics, and logos — is the intellectual property of Korean Cheat Code.
- Licence: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to access our Courses for your own personal, non-commercial use only.
- Restrictions: You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, reproduce, record, or share our materials with any third party.
- Use our materials for commercial teaching or any form of public display.
- Modify or create derivative works based on our content.
⚠️ We reserve the right to monitor account usage. If suspicious activity is detected (e.g. simultaneous logins from different locations), we may suspend or terminate your access immediately.
3. Purchasing and Payment Terms
- Pricing: Fees for Courses and Coaching Programmes are displayed on the Website in GBP (pounds sterling).
- Payment Methods: We accept major credit and debit cards and PayPal. All payments are securely processed via third-party payment gateways (Stripe or PayPal) hosted on the Teachable platform. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and account information.
Instalment Plans — Important
If you select a monthly payment option for a Course or Coaching Programme, please be aware of the following:
- This constitutes a payment plan (instalment) for the full Course tuition — it is NOT a cancel-anytime subscription.
- By enrolling, you are legally committed to completing all scheduled payments for the full duration of the plan, regardless of your attendance or progress within the Course.
4. Course Content and Access
- Access Period: Upon purchase, you will receive access to the Course materials for the duration specified in the Course description (e.g. lifetime access or limited-time access for cohort programmes).
- Modifications: We reserve the right to update, modify, or improve Course content at any time in order to keep it current and effective.
- Third-Party Platforms: Certain components of our Courses (e.g. community forums, live sessions) may be hosted on third-party platforms (e.g. Discord, Zoom). By participating, you agree to comply with the respective terms of use of those platforms.
5. Refund Policy
This section is to be read in conjunction with our Refund Policy page.
Instant Downloads (PDFs / Digital Files)
Due to the nature of digital downloads, no refunds are available once a file has been downloaded or accessed.
Self-Study Courses (Weekly Schedule)
We offer a 7-Day Action-Based Guarantee. As Course content is released on a weekly schedule, you have sufficient time to complete Phase 1 (Week 1) before committing fully.
- Refund Window: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of your purchase date.
- Condition (Action-Based): To be eligible for a refund, you must demonstrate that you have genuinely engaged with the method by submitting your completed worksheets from Phase 1.
- Exclusions: Requests submitted without the completed worksheets (e.g. "change of mind" or "not enough time"), or requests made after the 7-day window, will not be approved.
Coaching Programmes and Cohort Courses (e.g. 4-Month Course)
- 14-Day Guarantee: You may request a full refund within 14 days of the Programme start date, irrespective of your progress.
- After 14 Days: No refunds will be issued after this point. By continuing beyond the 14-day period, you accept the full commitment of the Programme.
Transaction Fees
Please note that platform and transaction fees charged by third parties (Teachable, Stripe, or PayPal) are non-refundable and may be deducted from any approved refund amount.
6. Cancellation of Payment Plans
This section applies to courses with Limited Enrolment (cohort-based courses that include personal feedback).
- Binding Commitment: As your enrolment secures a limited place that includes personal feedback, you are responsible for the full tuition fee.
- Mid-Course Cancellation: We do not generally permit cancellation of payment plans after the 14-day refund period has elapsed.
- Exception: In exceptional circumstances, where we agree as a one-time exception to cancel your remaining payments:
- Your access to all Course materials, community features, and feedback will be revoked immediately.
- No refunds will be issued for payments already made.
- You may be restricted from enrolling in future programmes.
7. User Conduct
We are committed to fostering a positive and respectful learning environment. We reserve the right to remove any student from a Course or Community without refund if they:
- Harass, threaten, or engage in abusive behaviour towards other students or staff.
- Post spam, promotional content, or irrelevant material within our community spaces.
- Violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- "As Is" Basis: The Courses and Website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Website will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- Educational Purpose: Our Courses are provided for educational purposes only. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes (e.g. passing a particular examination or achieving a specific level of fluency), as progress in language learning is dependent upon individual effort and commitment.
- Limitation: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Korean Cheat Code shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Website. Our total liability to you shall in no event exceed the amount you paid for the Course.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Website and Courses following the publication of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
